In a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, radio host Charlamagne tha God expressed skepticism about Vice President Kamala Harris’s choice of Gov. Tim Walz D-Minn. as a running mate.

He acknowledged that while he doesn’t think Walz is garbage, he questioned the potential impact of his candidacy, stating, I don’t see the impact.

Charlamagne emphasized that voters need to see Walz actively engaging on the frontlines rather than being passive, saying, We need you on the frontlines, okay.

He highlighted the necessity for a candidate who can resonate with and excite white voters, suggesting that Walz may not fulfill that role effectively.

Recent polling indicates Walz is trailing behind J.D. Vance, Trump’s vice presidential pick, regarding perceptions of masculinity, with 38% of voters viewing Vance as completely masculine compared to 27% for Walz.

Despite this, the polling from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ shows Walz with a slight edge in favorability at 42.9%, compared to Vance’s 41.3%.

This weekend, Walz is actively campaigning with events scheduled in Chicago, Boston, and Omaha, Nebraska, as he seeks to capture voters’ attention.
