Toyota has announced a generous donation of $80,000 to support music education programs at schools in Arizona and Georgia. This funding will benefit Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona, and several schools within the Fulton County Schools district, including Benjamin Banneker High School and Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta, Georgia.
To celebrate this initiative, an event was hosted at Tri-Cities High School, featuring special guests such as Latin Grammy-nominated music superstar Danny Ocean and Grammy-nominated composer Mali Wilson.
The event aimed to inspire students and foster discussions on the importance of music as a medium for creative expression. Attendees also participated in interactive sessions with local music producers, showcasing the power of collaboration in achieving success.
“Music is not just an art form; it’s a universal language that fosters creativity and collaboration,” said Steve Appelbaum, sponsorship senior manager at Toyota.
Every student deserves the opportunity to explore their talents, as it enriches their educational journey and prepares them for future success.
Through this donation, Toyota emphasizes its commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and supporting the creative endeavors of students in these communities.
