Shenandoah Police Arrest Suspect with Attempted Murder Warrant During Domestic Dispute

Shenandoah, PA – On Thursday evening, officers from the Shenandoah Borough Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at 228 South Jardin Street shortly after 5:30 PM. Upon arrival, they were assisted by the West Mahanoy Township Police in conducting a thorough investigation.

During the inquiry, authorities identified the male occupant, Frannicia Venture-Dion, 32, who was found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office in New Jersey.

Venture-Dion is wanted on serious charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon.

The police apprehended Venture-Dion without incident. He was subsequently arraigned before the Honorable Magistrate District Judge A.J. Serina on charges of arrest prior to requisition.

Venture-Dion is currently awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

Following his arraignment, he was committed to Schuylkill County Prison, with bail set at $500,000 straight cash. He remains in custody as legal proceedings continue.
