Beloit, Wis. WIFR – As the election approaches, Gwen Walz, wife of vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, visited Beloit to rally support among local residents.

At Bushel and Peck’s Market, she emphasized the challenges many face in balancing careers and family responsibilities, advocating for an “opportunity economy” that supports middle-class families.

Cynthia Adamson, a former Mankato High School student of Gwen and Tim Walz, shared her enthusiasm for the campaign, noting her decision to become actively involved in canvassing for the Harris-Walz ticket, despite previously being a quiet Democrat.

Adamson highlighted Walz’s visit as a motivating factor in a traditionally Republican town.

Wisconsin’s political landscape remains unpredictable, having switched between Democratic and Republican victories in recent elections.

With early voting set to begin on October 22, Walz urged voters to engage with undecided constituents to sway the election in their favor.
