Now that not wearing your seatbelt is a primary charge, will that change whether or not you will wear a seat belt?

More than any other sport, wrestling has more of a family atmosphere than any.
The wrestlers and their coaches keep in close contact after they graduate school, and the wrestlers themselves strike up quick friendships thanks to kids wrestling and other events throughout the year. The wrestling family has a tight bond.
That is why this week the wrestling family has been in mourning. They have lost one of their own.

As many of you already know, Matt Noblet died early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle accident near Osawatomie. The loss hit the wrestling community of Paola hard and others across the state.
Noblet was a fixture of Paola wrestling and garnered state medals and national honors in the process. He was, like my colleague Gene Morris said in his column Wednesday, “A shining light.”
I myself didn’t know Matt very well. I interviewed him once after the Metro Classic event last March and he was definitely a man a few words. He let his actions speak for himself and they spoke loud and clear.
Before that, however, Matt (who worked with Joe Cullor and All-Star Moving at the time), helped move my family and I from our home in McLouth to Louisburg. He did his job well and I could tell his work ethic was second to none. He was a good kid.
My prayers definitely go out to his family during this hard time. I have lost my fair share of friends to car accidents over the years and I can share their sadness.
There is no doubt Matt is in a better place now and we should all be happy for that.
