The Louisburg Kids Wrestling Club made out with several medals during its home novice tournament on Sunday at Louisburg High School.

Twelve Wildcat wrestlers earned first-place honors, including seven in the 6-and-under division. Cade Holtzen and Ryan Owens both won the 37-pound weight class, while Jesse Flood, Cole Gunner Ewalt and Tyler Schafer took first at 43 pounds.

Haden Yeager finished first at 46 pounds, while Ethan Shaffer won the 52-pound class.

Two Wildcat wrestlers won in the 8-and-under category. Christian Tosterud took first at 61 pounds, while Frankie Hurst did the same at 82 pounds.

Kyle Allen was first in the 10-and-under 61-pound class and Curtis Lemke won the 14-and-under 125-pound title.

Five Louisburg wrestlers earned runner-up honors and all came in the 8-and-under category. Benjamin Wiedenmann (52), Ian Combs (61), Blue Caplinger (61), Gabrial Branch (67) and Beckett Rasmussen (70).

Quentin Feuerborn, Brayden White, Brenna Oshel, Cade Burns and Dawson Barnes all placed third in the 6-and-under class, while Grant King took third at 8-and-under. Donnie Goode (12U) and Cody Richardson (14U) also finished third.

The Wildcats also had nine fourth-place finishers. Drake Baus, Sam Kratochvil, Tucker Plansky, Brandon Doles and Brayden Gage took fourth in the 6-and-under division.

Garrett Rolofson and Anton McCrskie finished fourth in 8-and-under, while Desmond Doles finished fourth in the 10-and-under class.
