With Christmas and New Year’s day right around the corner, city and county offices, as well as the Herald offices have altered holiday schedules.

Christmas schedule

Louisburg city offices will close at 1 p.m. today for the Christmas holiday and remain closed Thursday. The city will reopen its offices at 7 a.m. Friday.

Miami County offices will close at the normal time, 4:30 p.m., today and will remain closed Thursday and Friday. Offices will reopen Monday at 8 a.m. for normal business.

The Louisburg Herald will close our office at 2 p.m. today for the Christmas holiday and remain closed Thursday. We will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday.

New Year’s

Louisburg city offices will keep regular business hours, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dec. 31, but will be closed on New Year’s Day. The office will reopen at 7 a.m. Jan. 2

County offices will close at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 31 and remain closed Jan. 1. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 2.
The Louisburg Herald office will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 31 and remain closed on Jan. 1. We will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 2. Because of the New Year’s holiday, our advertising and news deadlines have also been altered.

News deadlines for the Dec. 31 issue of the Herald are unchanged, and news items for the Miami County Republic Weekend edition must be received by 5 p.m. Monday.

Advertising deadlines for the Dec. 31 issue of the Herald are unchanged. Advertising deadlines for the Weekend are as follows: display advertising, noon Tuesday; classified advertising, 4:30 p.m. Tuesday; legals, 10 a.m. Tuesday.
